The FAIR Gen 1 perfumes were born of experimental research on innovative molecular structures and nanoparticles. Thanks to relentless R&D, hard work and perseverance, the brand distinguished itself, reinventing the concept of perfume making. Whereas domains as diverse as aviation, the automotive industry and telecommunications were quick to embrace technological change, perfumery took refuge in a conservatism founded on techniques handed down through centuries, and materials belonging to a bygone era. Each material is chosen for the specific, clearly-defined qualities and improved efficiency they bring to perfume making. Novel molecular structures and molecular machines are the foundation for achieving advanced olfactory results, whilst simultaneously broadening the possibilities open to perfumery in the 21st century. The brand has one foot in the 18th century—because we are faithful to the great artisanal tradition of perfumery, with extremely complex scents assembled and finished by hand—and the other foot firmly in the 21st century. Perfumes produced in our perfumery are the most complicated perfumes to have ever been made.
